In these trying times, we do everything we can to save a buck, cut down on cost and save energy. At first, it was trendy and now it has become necessary. Your swimming pool can be a huge energy waster unless you employ a couple of simple techniques. One major technique I always talk about is using a solar blanket or liquid solar fish to heat your pool. It’s a cost effective way to heat your pool. If you already have a gas heater or heat pump, using a solar cover can greatly reduce the use of a heater by keeping the heat from escaping your pool, causing you to run your heater more.
Take this simple poll. You can choose multiple items if you use them.
