Take Advantage Of Pool Store Spring Specials

The swimming pool season is upon us. It’s way sooner than you think. I know it’s only the end of March (heck I’m even going snowboarding this weekend). The weather in the northeast is nice and people are starting to think about spring. The pool companies know this too and they want to get an early start on their pool retail season.

Here in the Northeast, we had a terrible winter this year. There was a ton of snow and that didn’t help the pool industry. The president’s day sales were almost non-existent.  I know that the companies up this way are looking to get an early start to help give them some cash flow. They are all looking for ways to bring in customers early.

With that said, I suggest everyone follow in their footsteps and act on any deals that local and national pool companies will offer this year. There is going to be a lot of items on sale and they will be worth coming in for. It’s always beneficial to buy your chemicals early and stock up.  Sometimes in the peak of the retail season (end of May) it’s hard to find the chemicals you need because they sell out so quickly.

This is just advice that I am basing on my years of experience doing marketing for a big local pool company in the northeast, and I think it’s worth acting on.
