Get NowIf you own a spa cover then you know that taking a spa cover on and off a spa can be a real hassle. If your cover is old then chances are it has been water logged and is not heavier than its ever been making it even harder to get on and off. That’s why they make spa cover lifts. It’s a simple mechanism that helps you to remove your spa cover with ease. And one person is able to do it without the help of someone else.
Here are the three different types of cover lifters on the market today.

The Cabinet Mount Cover Lifter
This cover lifter it’s drilled into your spa cabinet and allows uses an one arm to help lift the spa cover. So all you need to do is fold the cover over once and now use the arm to pull the cover up and off the spa. The spa cover now hangs in the air behind the spa until its ready to be place back on.

The Under Cabinet Mount Cover Lifter
This cover lifter works exactly like the attached version except this cover lifter is not drilled to the cabinet. Instead there are two metal plates on either side that slide underneath your spa and uses the weight as leverage. Between these two types of lifters we recommend using this version over the attached version. The attached version can sometimes be stronger and more durable but now you have holes drilled into your spa cabinet which when removed can look bad. Other than that tiny oversight, the attached version also keeps the cover high off the ground instead of the classic, which keeps it lower. Again this is just a cosmetic thing, both lifters work well.

The Hydrolic Lifter
If you don’t want to do any of the brunt work when removing your spa cover then this is the lifter for you. It uses hydrolics to help lift the cover off the spa making it really easy. Most hydrolic lifters we’ve seen are drilled into the spa cabinet but if you are really looking for an almost hands free way of removing your spa cover then this is the cover for you.
