- If your spa water looks bad, drain and clean it

These are all things to look for as telltale signs to drain and clean your spa. Here is a little formula to help you to determine when to drain and clean your hot tub.
TOTAL GALLONS (divided by) 3 (divided by) AVERAGE DAILY BATHERS
Here is an example:
If your spa is 400 Gallons and you have a family of 4 that uses the spa frequently then you would need to drain and clean your spa every 33 days
400 Gallons (divided by) 3 = 133
133 (divided by) 4 People – 33 Days
