You can also lower the chlorine in your pool or spa by just letting your filter or spa run in the sun. The sun eats up 1ppm (part per million) of unstablized chlorine every hour. If the chlorine or any other sanitizer is very high, you may want to drain and refill a little. Just remember this may also cause other chemicals to decrease as well
