Pool Care Rap Video
At Swim University we’re celebrating the official start of summer with a music video about taking care of your swimming pool, which I simply titled: Pool Care Rap Video. What better way to learn than through a catchy song and an energetic video?
This video was created to bring out the fun in pool care. Sometimes it can feel like a chore, but the reward is the feeling you get when you jump into a cool, clean swimming pool on a hot summer day — it’s an amazing feeling.
Pool care doesn’t have to be hard, expensive, time-consuming or scary. It can be relaxing and fun if you just follow a routine and care for it the way you’d take care of a loved one.
The song’s chorus has a simple message: take care of your pool in 3 steps…

I Want to Thank Everyone!
With the help of friends and family I was able to put together this project in just a few jam-packed days and I couldn’t be happier with the final product.
I want to thank my family (my Dad and my brothers) for helping me record the song. I spent hours days in the studio writing, recording, mixing and mastering until I got it perfect. And with the help of friend’s on Facebook, I was introduced to Nina Ward who sang lead vocals on the track. She also stars in the video and totally brought her A-game to the project. Well done!
My good friend Matt Basara was my partner in crime on this. He’s a very talented musician and videographer who helped bring my vision to life. I’m very grateful he was a part of it.
I also want to thank Stephanie Mosher for spending hours with me learning how to use a GlideCam, then finally giving up and shooting some beautiful footage :-)
And the intro wouldn’t be possible without Bill Henry, my ex-employer who was generous enough to let me borrow his pool truck. Very clutch…literally!
