New Help Buttons and Notifications

What’s New in This Update 🎉

Pool care shouldn’t feel like a guessing game, and this update is all about making sure you always have the right information at the right time. We’ve added two big features that work together to keep you informed and educated, so you spend less time wondering and more time actually enjoying your pool.

A Smarter Help Center 📚

We’re Swim University. Education is kind of our thing. So we packed a ton of helpful guidance directly into the app.

Scroll down on the home screen, and you’ll see a new App Guides section. These walk you through exactly how to use the app, from setting up your pool profile to reading your treatment plan to entering test results to customizing your chemical ranges. If you’ve ever wondered, “wait, how do I do this?” the answer is now right there.

Tap the Help Center button at the bottom, and you’ll get access to live chat support (real humans, no AI bots), on-demand video tutorials, and articles on just about every pool care topic you can think of. We run chat support, and a lot of the time, you’ll be chatting with Matt himself.

When you’re working through a treatment plan, and the app tells you to raise your pH, add chlorine, or adjust your stabilizer, you’ll now see a Help button right at the top of each treatment screen. Tap it, and you’ll get a quick explanation of what that chemical actually does, why it matters, and how to add it to your pool. Short videos included.

No more second-guessing whether you’re doing it right. The answers are built in.

Notifications Are Here 🔔

You’ll now see a little bell icon at the top of the app. That’s your new notification center, and it’s how we’ll keep you in the loop on everything happening with your pool and the app itself.

Inside, you’ll find the latest app updates (including this one), plus timely reminders about when to test your water and take care of your pool (coming soon). Think of it as a heads-up system that helps you stay on top of maintenance without having to remember every little thing yourself.

Improvements and Bug Fixes 🔧

• Cleaner treatment screens. We reduced the text size on the treatment bottom sheets so you can now see the complete button along with all the relevant information without having to scroll around.
• Expanded calcium hardness range. You can now set your calcium hardness range up to 400 ppm, giving you more flexibility to match your pool’s specific needs.
• Faster app performance. We made overall speed improvements across the app, with pages loading much quicker than before.
